There are countless opportunities for capturing amazing photographs in the Scottish Highlands.  Whether your interest is in landscape, wildlife, people or events, it is all there.

I have travelled around Wester Ross, Skye and the Outer Hebrides with my husband Ian (who is also a photographer), and would like to share some of the best locations that you can get to without long walks or climbs.

We host escorted holidays, using a unique holiday home as our base, and using a local transport company for our transfers and day tours.

Each spring and autumn we shall be hosting holidays in Ullapool. We have chosen Ullapool as there is some amazing scenery in the area - some within walking distance of our base. As well as beautiful scenery, Ullapool itself has a great deal to offer. There is a lot of live music - some traditional and some not so traditional. There are also opportunities to join local musicians on open mic nights.

If you are interested in exploring the Highlands but don't want to drive and are concerned about the amount of walking involved in other photography holidays, then get in touch. We provide transport from Inverness (airport or train station) and transport to locations around the area.

Costs vary depending on which week and  any specific requirements, but will be a maximum of £800 for one week, including transfers from and to Inverness. Flights or trains to Inverness are not included. Contact me to discuss your requirements and I will provide a quote as well as advice on travel.
